Artist in the Community with AsIAm

DIFF 2023

HK had two scores at the Dublin International Film Festival. Good Chips premiered as one of the winners of the Virgin Media Discovers Competition, and Baths was screened in the Shorts Programme. Good Chips will be televised on Virgin Media 1 at 11pm on Thursday 02 March 2023.

RTÉ Radio Junior

St Brigid’s Cloak is a two part show for children about the story of St Brigid which was played on RTÉ Radio Junior for St Brigid’s Day. HK wrote and scored the show. Rough Magic SEEDS

Baboró Festival Mentoring

HK was fortunate to participate in the Festival Mentoring Programme at Baboró Festival with mentors Phil Kingston and Maria Flemming. They spent a lovely week immersed in children’s theatre and panel discussions. Read more about it here.

Music and Healthcare Ireland

After 4 months of training, HK completed the Young Music Graduate Programme with Music and Healthcare Ireland with mentors Gráinne Hope and Liam Merriman. This was a wonderfully fulfilling experience of implementing the arts into a wide range of healthcare settings such as nursing homes and hospitals, and making the arts accessible for all.
